Volunteer with Ruff Pack
Join Our Foster Program
Thanks for your interest in volunteering! As a foster-based rescue, we are always in need of new foster families!
Fostering means opening your home to a dog while it waits to find the perfect family. Fostering is a great way to learn about a dog if you are interested in adopting yourself, but beyond that, it allows more than one life to be saved. By fostering, you are not only saving the life of your foster dog but also the life of another shelter dog who is able to take the kennel space your foster dog has freed up.
The most common reason people give for not fostering is that "it would be too hard to give them up!" We're not going to lie - sometimes when a foster dog gets adopted, we get a little teary-eyed, but the knowledge that you have helped a dog has a happy ending, and a second chance at life far outweighs a little temporary heartache.
Ruff Pack covers all the supplies you will need for your foster dog, including food, crate, and vet care. All you have to do is provide the space and love! To get started, download our foster application and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
